Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather come to Greece in 1904 and her maternal grandmother was of Irish origin. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, Psaki graduated from the College of William & Mary. She received a degree in English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega sorority member. Psaki is who was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer was on the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki started her career in 2001 as a candidate for re-election for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki will be serving as a Political Analyst in the 2022 United States Presidential Elections. In 2023, she will also host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
